The Ringers Book is for use with The Handbell Handbook by Guy Ratcliffe, a comprehensive guide to the subject of musical ringing on handbells. It is intended primarily for new teams of ringers using just 12 handbells, handchimes or similar group instruments but will also be useful for larger teams to train newcomers on a small and simple set.
This book aims to teach the basics of tune ringing and music reading and contains all the exercises and music for the ten sessions set out in detail in The Handbell Handbook. Session 10 is an informal concert.
Also available are an audio-cassette and CD of 12 bell music played by the Dunblane Cathedral Handbell Ringers (Director Malcolm C Wilson).
